How to use the Batch Transcription feature

You can transcribe multiple files at once with the Batch Transcription feature in MacWhisper, url files don't work for this yet. Useful for when you have a backlog of tens of interviews that you want to transcribe in one go at the highest quality overnight.

To start using the Batch Transcription feature you can click the button on the homescreen, or simple open multiple files from the Open File... button. You can also drag multiple files onto MacWhisper at the same time to open the Batch window.

Export Formats

You can select multiple export formats at the same time when using the Batch Transcription feature which makes it super easy to process a large number of files into a variety of formats in one go!

In the top right, click on the Add Format button to add an extra export format. You can add as many as you want, as well as multiple variations of the same style with different options.

In the bottom left you can see the total duration of all the audio tracks combined, which will give you an estimate of the time it will take to transcribe all the files.
